Here in Arizona, Daylight Saving Time is a non-issue, except for the fact that by not acknowledging what every other state but Hawaii does, Arizona spends half the year in one time zone and half the year in another. Except for the parts of the state that do acknowledge the switch, and the other parts of the state that don’t within those parts of the state that do. Not sure who the joke’s on.
This year the rest of the country changes its clocks on November 6 at 2am. November 6, incidentally, is when Katie and I get married. So for those coming from out of state, remember that Arizona won’t be changing its clocks. Here’s a video my brother sent me about the history of Daylight Saving Time and the complicated question of whether it’s worth it.
